Consolidate and deepen the teaching of political political knowledge of the principles, rules and mechanisms of managing the public affairs of governance in Iraq and the various countries of the world at the theoretical level and at the level of political practice, up to the preparation of specialists through clear scientific methods and at a high level of scientific and political maturity to serve our country.

For students of international and diplomatic relations to familiarize themselves with the principles, principles, foundations and rules of political science at the official, popular and international levels, and graduate professionals who possess political knowledge and the ability to manage state affairs at the local, national and international levels.

1. Preparing people who are qualified to study politics, equipped with a method of scientific thinking and the ability to conduct academic and investigative research on scientific truth in the field of political thought, political systems, and the third world.
2. Preparing specialized staff to work in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, universities, international and regional organizations, and jobs related to media and public relations, and teaching human rights and democracy.
3. Encouraging scientific research in the fields of political studies, research, and political theories.
4. Providing scientific advice to relevant government ministries and departments, and to international and regional organizations and civil society organizations.
